Goalie Development

On-Ice Goalie Development

Lead instructor: Amey Doyle

Goals:

Specifically focuses on the on-ice skills required for goalies to improve throughout the year. Each session progresses from the previous session and builds fundamentals throughout the year. As goalies progress through each session, they will not only improve their on-ice skills but also, they will build confidence and gain an understanding of what is required to become an elite goalie. It is highly recommended that each team allocate one coach to attend the on-ice sessions so that the same vocabulary and teaching points can be reinforced at team practices.

Volunteers needed:

We also need 10-12, U15-U18 players, to help shoot pucks for these sessions.  This will be a great opportunity to collect volunteer hours as part of their high school requirements.

Please have the interested goalies and volunteers e-mail bradcrawfy@gmail.com to confirm participation.
